This is a rare springbox meaning that the paints are kept in place by the bars that run the full length on the inside edge of the pans being spring powered. Which in turn means the pans never rattle! It is a great idea and all tins should be like it! The full set of paints are I think by Reeves and may be in ceramic pans? They are however old and with lots of life left in them should the new owner wish to use them. There are also two extra pans that are not ever so useful. There is rust present but I dont think its bad certainly not to the extent of causing real damage. Externally there is as you can see paint missing but not excessively. The interior could I guess do with a clean after which it could be used without delay. It is a great box. Approx 14.5cm x 7cm x 2.5cm.
