This is a lovely box that has Im sure been rightly treasured. Im guessing the original paint cakes must have been used up a long time ago and replaced by these period pans. Most are I think ceramic and by Reeves and all have some life left in them. There are a couple of old pencils also. Underneath the paints there is a really nice palette/ mixing tray by Winsor Newton. Again this is old and in good condition. A key is present and if half turned works fine to lock the box. For some reason the lock springs back to the open position when the key is turned fully, maybe it needs oiling? Approx 23.5cm x 10.5cm x 4.5cm.
