This is a VINTAGE well-made Mabef easel. I have not been able to find an identical Mabef symbol like the one on this unit. They don’t make them like this anymore!! The wooden base/box that contains the tin-lined sliding accessory drawer (for storage) & tabletop easel measures 20″ X 13.5″ X 4.5. The unit is very solid and well crafted. The color on this vintage piece is awesome! Made in Italy of oiled beech wood with brass hardware and weighing 13 lbs, it’s an easel that is practical, reliable, and durable! This is the perfect easel for the traveling artist! The draw is great for holding paints and brushes. It is ideal for watercolor, oil, or acrylic painting. Accommodates canvases up to 34 inches in height with the adjustable canvas holder. This is an easel that was previously owned, so it does have some minor blemishes in areas from normal use. The tin tray does have some stains / spotting (see attached photographs please). All latches, hinges, and other hardware are intact and fully functional. The leather handle is a replacement handle and is Brand new… This Mabef model has adjustable legs and a tripod design. This can be used as a tabletop easel as well.
