Fluorescent tubes, though will turn on with two tubes. There are 2 switches, one for the 2 outer tubes, and one for the inner 2 tubes, as shown in photos 7, 8, and 9. Last photo is with cover on. My camera does not do well in the house, especially at night. However, there are 8 phillips screws holding the plexi-glass in place, I will remove the screws and put packing material around the bulbs, and I will put a REMINDER NOTE for you to remove the packing material before using. Electric cord is a 3 prong and plugs into your typical household wall socket. Electric cord measures approximately 90 long.
