The vintage japanned black tin box is referred to: Reeves’ Students’ Colour Box No. There are 27 ceramic watercolor pans and only 1 is empty. Some edges are chipped. While this set has seen a fair amount of use, most of the pans have a good amount of paint left. Both the mixing palette and water reservoir have peeling white enamel. The paper label in the brush compartment which lists the colors is stained. There is a partial tube of china white. The exterior has signs of use, scratches and nicks to the lacquer.
