This is a school boys watercolour box of the 19th c. Apart from two little mixing discs it is complete. The box is in excellent condition and has had just a tiny bit of use. This shows itself in a little wear on the underside of its original paint cakes. It is a delightful thing and given its intended user must be rare. I have never seen another and if anyone out there can shed light on its maker maybe by recognising the paint cake design I would love to know. Thanks for looking, any questions feel free to ask.
