Vtg Mabef Beechwood Artist Sketch Box Palette Portable Tubes Oil Paints. All-purpose, high quality sketch box with adjustable metal interior compartments customize to supplies; sliding canvas supports tucked into the inside lid to transport small paintings. Oiled, sanded beech wood construction. Box measures 17″ x 13″. Palette measures 16.5″ x 12″. There are 39 tubes included in this sale and all bar one are various (mainly Shiva & Grumbacher) oils, with a couple of other brands. The other tube is a tube of Grumbacher Tranparentizer Gel – please see individual pictures. In used condition with numerous paint marks, sticker residue, used palette, scratches on the brass locks and other minor signs of use/wear. Some of the tubes are starting to deteriorate so although they all feel flexible I cannot guarantee every tube will be usable. Structurally the box is strong and the locks are in working condition. The leather handle does have a couple of splits in it. Please check the photos carefully to decide if the condition is acceptable before purchasing.
