Antique Compact Lightweight Pochade Box probably early 20th century. This pochade box is in good condition. I’m guessing it is early 20th century, made of walnut. Approximate external dimensions 25 x 18 x 7 cm. With room for 2 panels about 24 x 15 cm. The palette is not original. It is made of ply with 2 neodymium magnets recessed into the surface to hold palette cups which I don’t have but could be improvised. There is a thumbhole to hold it in your left hand while painting which I did once.
