Vintage Portable Reeves & Sons Ltd Easel with Paint Storage. This all original portable easel is well over 50 years old and has served its owner well over that time. Sadly it is no longer being used and deserves a new lease of life. It really is super cute and actually amazingly stable. Reeves certainly knew what they were designing! The easel itself is wood with telescopic legs with pins to stabilise it in the field and has three height settings for the canvas, seated above the metal paint and brush box which has a paint palette as a lid. The wooden legs and paint palette are in reasonable condition given its exciting life, and the metal paint box has some blistering/rusting but nothing to compromise its use. The handle is plastic or Bakelite and the lovely Reeves badge is still intact too. The easel weighs a little over 3kg unladen and is not uncomfortable to carry. I have thrown in a wooden case for more paints and a two canvas storage in the lid. Included with this are some oil pastels and water colours etc. Please study the photos for more as they form part of the description.
