It is in an original tin metal box. The box had 40 pencils, only 5 are missing. These pencils are Supracolor I and NOT Supracolor II. Supracolor I has fine leads and it is ideal for detailed drawings. Supracolor II has thick leads and is ideal for shading. Great pencils that could be used for your art work or use them to add to your collection of vintage Caran D’ache Supracolor I if some of yours are also missing or used. These pencils are vintage from the 1990′s so it is possible that they have different shades of any particular color even if they have the same number on the pencil. The box is 13 long. The set is in the original box. The pencils were used. The tin box is in good condition. The box had 40 pencils and only 5 are missing.
