OLD Winsor and Newton Artists’ watercolour work/paint box. Plus 2 X Reeves and Sons pastel tins and contents. Hi and welcome to my listing for this old antique, unrestored, original condition, Winsor and Newton water colour paint box and two Reeves’ Greyhound’ pastels tins and contents. The box itself measures about 11.5 inches (29 cm) X 7.5 inches (19 cm) and is almost 2 inches (5 cm) deep. It is pretty robust and solid the catches and hinges work. The top has a split in it about 9 cm long (see photo) and the varnish has worn away in areas so an element of restoration may be required. It is has a wonderful colour and patina displaying loads of character. The paint box comes with a lift out tray and its contents as shown. The set came with two Reeves & Son’s Ltd. Greyhound pastel tins one of which as the partially used pastels in it the other tin having various used coloured, utility pencils and a ruler in it – just wanted to keep all them together. The tins look pretty old but with lovely graphics. Hopefully an interesting little set for a collector – worthy of further research. ANY QUESTIONS DON’Y HESITATE TO ASK.
