Should you wish to add your own finish, an unsealed box can be provided. This is the second cigar box build for us. Based on the same box as the original. This pochade holds most panels of about 10 or less. It really depends on how heavy your hand is and how you set it up. The Magna-Box is great for small quick sketches on the go. Each box is fitted with a 1/4 by 20 t-nut for mounting to most tripods and quick release plates. It comes with 9 magnet sheets (3 packs of 3- 4×6 magnets). The sheets are easy to cut to any size. With a little creativity they can be re-used too. Which really comes in handy if you’re in a pinch. Larger sizes are available online. The palette is made of masonite and is removable for easy replacement. Please wipe down the palette with a small amount of linseed oil after use. It will seal after a few uses.
